Making is Learning
My name is Mrs. May and this site has been designed so we can share conversations about books, stories and ideas. One of the books we will be using this year is Little House in the Big Woods by Laura Ingalls Wilder. It was one of my favorites as a kid and I grew up very near to the Ingalls Family homestead. We will be using this book to talk about pioneer life, start our inquiry research and makerspace projects.

We want all of our students to enjoy coming to Settler's Way Elementary Library. We will help students find materials for research and books for pleasure.
MAKERSPACE
This is one of our most popular spaces in our library. It has made a big difference for all students, especially those who didn't usually like reading.
